Welcome

A house for beautiful things with a past

Over many years, precious furniture and wooden objects give their beholder joy, again and again. Rediscovering that joy — and preserving it for a long time — is the heart of our restoration work. Whether your object is an antique of museum quality or a piece of furniture full of memories: your joy in it is the goal of every restoration.

“Every piece of furniture carries a life within it. Our task is not to erase that life — but to let it shine again.”

The Atelier

A master workshop, alive and working

Behind the gallery lies the heart of the house: the restoration atelier. Here, clocks are taken apart and reassembled, veneers are laid, carvings completed, and surfaces polished with shellac — by hand, as it has been done for centuries.

As a certified master workshop (Meisterbetrieb), we restore for private collectors as well as for the trade.
